Kapolei Insulation started in 2020 with a straightforward idea: homeowners in Kapolei and across West Oahu deserved an insulation contractor who understood the local climate and gave them straight answers. The west side of Oahu runs hot and humid, and the insulation decisions that work in Phoenix or Atlanta simply do not translate here. Too many homeowners were getting generic advice from contractors who had not thought carefully about what Hawaii homes actually need.

Kapolei grew fast, and most of the homes here were built between 1990 and 2010 - modern enough to look fine from the outside, but often built to minimum code standards that did not prioritize energy efficiency. That gap between how a home looks and how it performs is where we focus. From newer subdivisions like Mehana to older homes closer to Ko Olina, we have worked on houses all across this side of the island and know what they are made of.
