These terms apply to all website visitors, prospective customers, and customers who hire us for insulation or related services. We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at kapoleiinsulation.com/terms-and-conditions.
Kapolei Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and insulation removal. Services are provided in Kapolei, HI and surrounding communities on Oahu.
All work is performed by or under the supervision of our licensed and insured team. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.
Written estimates provided by Kapolei Insulation are based on the information available at the time of assessment. An estimate is not a guaranteed fixed price. If conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was assessed - for example, hidden moisture damage, unexpected structural issues, or a larger scope than initially visible - we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised estimate.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted in writing. We are not obligated to honor an estimate after it expires.
Free estimates are provided as a courtesy. Requesting an estimate does not create any obligation on either party to enter into a service agreement.
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before a scheduled job without good cause, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover crew scheduling and material preparation costs. The fee will be communicated to you in advance.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, crew availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available time.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay the job or result in additional charges.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other terms are agreed to in writing before the job begins. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before scheduling. Deposit terms will be stated in your written estimate.
We accept payment by cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee. Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late payment fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue collection through any lawful means, including filing a mechanic's lien on the property where work was performed as permitted underHawaii law.
Where permits are required for insulation work under applicable City and County of Honolulu or State of Hawaii regulations, we will obtain and manage the permit process as part of the project. Permit fees may be included in or added to the project estimate.
You agree not to request that we perform work that requires a permit without obtaining one. We are not responsible for code violations resulting from your direction to omit required permits.
We stand behind our work. If you experience a defect or issue directly caused by our installation within the warranty period stated in your project agreement, we will return and correct it at no charge. Our workmanship warranty applies only to defects caused by installation error and does not cover damage resulting from water intrusion, structural movement, pest activity, third-party modifications, or normal wear and tear.
Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. We will provide you with any applicable product documentation at the time of job completion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kapolei Insulation's liability for any claim arising from services performed or website use is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or revenue, loss of use, or any damages arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, or any other theory.
The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or fitness of any information on the site.
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer, guarantee of availability, or representation that any particular service outcome will be achieved. Project results vary based on home construction, existing conditions, and other factors.
If a dispute arises between you and Kapolei Insulation relating to services or these terms, we ask that you contact us first to try to resolve it directly. Most issues can be worked out with a direct conversation.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation will be conducted in Kapolei, HI by a mutually agreed mediator. The costs of mediation will be shared equally unless otherwise ordered.
If mediation does not resolve the matter, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Hawaii, as permitted by applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising under these terms will be brought in the appropriate courts of Hawaii.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. The updated terms take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our website or engagement of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with changes, stop using our website and contact us to resolve any ongoing service matters.
